Are you and your family ready for the next earthquake, downed power lines, or other emergency? What are the most important things to have during a time when you might not have access to food or medical care for awhile?
Here are some ways that you can learn more and get involved:
CERT
Become a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) member and learn basic response skills such as light search and rescue, medical operations and fire suppression.
Learn more and find class schedules at the Everett CERT page
Map Your Neighborhood
You can prepare for a disaster with your neighbors by identifying capabilities, skills, and vulnerabilities so you can effectively and collectively respond. Do this by conducting a Map Your Neighborhood session in your area.
