Historic Everett was formed in 2002 as a not-for-profit, non-governmental preservation group, similar to such groups as Historic Seattle. The mission of Historic Everett is to preserve the heritage of the City of Everett through preservation, advocacy and education. Historic Everett engages in the preservation and rehabilitation of historic buildings, landscapes, architectural artifacts, and other cultural items that reflect the heritage of Everett, as well as comprehensive preservation programming.
Everett Museum of History
The Everett Museum of History serves the City of Everett community through leadership and collaborations with local organizations. The Museum engages individuals who both have an interest in historical preservation as well as those who are new to the idea. Although there is no permanent display location, the organization works to evolve and preserve the permanent collection which consists of over 50,000 artifacts.
