Improve House Number Visibility

Description:
Ever try to find a house number in the Northwest Neighborhood at night? Especially difficult for seniors.
What’s the solution?
One idea is to paint the range of house numbers (1431-1425) for that block at the street corner on the curb.
Progress:
a.) Developed a stencil that displayed a range of house numbers (1401-1431)
b.) We painted a sample in front of our house near the corner on the street.
(Stop by and tell us what you think.)
c.) We decided that although this idea is an improvement, we need to go back to continue to research other alternatives.
Next Steps:
1.) We thought we’d attempt a test with larger numerals and then invite the Street Engineering folks out to ask them what they think of our idea.

Help Needed:
We need to better research what programs and efforts other communities have successfully pursued in order to improve the visibility of the house numbers in their communities.
