Alley Security Project
Many of us are concerned about some of the folks that drive slowly up and down our alleys seemingly casing our homes and property. It’s enough to give you the creeps!
The “Alley Security” project is a trial effort to use 2 video cameras connected to a 7 day DVR system to monitor one of our Neighborhood’s alley ways.
Bob Gudgel boB@gudgel.org lives on Rucker. Bob’s a really good guy with a huge heart. This project is his brainchild. Bob and the super folks at SecurFocus (see below) have put in dozens of hours in an attempt to optimize this system.
Although Bob purchased most of his equipment over the internet and not from SecurFocus, the SecurFocus people generously gave of their time and expertise to help Bob with his installation at no charge in hopes we’d give them some credit on our web site which we’re happy to do.

NOTE: The NW Neighborhood Association agreed to pay Bob $400 if he’d conduct this trial with the understanding that he’d be willing to answer any and all questions about the system and it’s operation for a period of one year.
