Here is a re-cap from Holly:

I would like to thank all the parents and caregivers for braving the elements and showing up in the park to hang out with the Easter Bunny. With cold weather and all those neighbors it was certainly a difficult moment as parade organizer when I realized some of the 9:00 attendees expected to be hunting at nine not 10.. All those eggs were just sitting there waiting to be scooped up. At first I thought I should punt the parade and just hang with peeps till the hunt went off, but then the spirit of the event came shining through a lovely young girl who came right up to me and said, “I am here for the parade, I have been in the parade every year we have to do the parade; can I be in the front?” How could I refuse a so with baby balloons on strings and a bunny in the front off we went. What a relief to get the crowd moving before we ran out of doughnuts and coffee. We had a safe day and those little precious kids in our neighborhood got to have another Easter egg hunt to tell all their peeps about. A special thanks to the Carol Wheeler and her Girl Scouts for leading the day.

Thanks Holly, Carol, and Girl Scout troop 43!
